I didn't do it myself yet, but my friend did it in such a cute way a month ago...she put a shirt on her son saying he's a big brother and took a picture and put it as her main picture on her facebook and I just thought it was such a great idea! ?She didn't really say anything about it, just waited to see if people noticed. ?It actually took a while for people to notice. lol ?But the responses were so funny.?

I love the idea but I will have to wait for #2 for that
A few people have posted a pic of SO & them stating there's 3 people in the picture.
I'll probably end up taging DH & I in the U/S pic considering I'm going to email family first. I don't want aunts, uncles & cousins feeling left out of the loop before seeing it on FB.

I feel the same way. We've told almost all the people we see on a regular basis. I'm just thinking I'd like the whole world to know now!
I haven't done it yet, we are waiting for the first u/s on Tuesday, but I am going to do the T-shirt thing, and since this is our first and have no other child to wear the T-shirt, we made one for our dog! (It's actually my profile pic). This is how we told my parents, and it was especilly cute because they consider our dog as their "grandpuppy" lol. They loved it, and I hope my facebook friends will, too!
I'm sort of a smarty pants. Don't know if I'll do it or not, but I'd like to take a picture of a hamburger bun in my oven, and just post that and see if anyone figures it out.
I posted our u/s pic with the status message "BabyCorn will be here by March 3!" (our last name starts with Corn-).
DH also posted the pic with the status message "Baby or seahorse- you be the judge." because in the u/s, the baby look slike a little seahorse. His was funnier but mine got the point across.
My dog has his own facebook page (he's kind of a big deal lol) so we set his status to "Ted is going to be a big brother." I also just put the US pic as my profile pic - it took some people a while, but within a coupla days people were commenting.

I think this is sooo cute and funny!!!!!!!
Since I already have a pic of me and SO as the profile pic, I may just tag my stomach with something funny and see if ppl catch on (I will admit, most of my friends are slow, which would make it more fun for me
I think I'm going to post my status as "up the duff", and see how long it takes people to figure it out. I have some cousins that know what it means, so I'm hoping that they'll respond first and that will help anyone that doesn't get it right away.

I just took a pic of my positive test and put my status as "Due March 4,2010" Then when i got my u/s pic i made that my profile pic. nothing to clever.

Posted an u/s pic from the NT scan and said something like "Driving to the Med Ctr at 6:30am isn't how I'd prefer to start a vacation day but we're making an exception." Or something. My NT scan was wicked early.
I think I might put something like 'Jenn & Steve decided to jump on the bandwagon' We have so many friends that are expecting it's amazing and no one is expecting it to happen for us so we'll see how quickly they catch on... it might take a bit which could be entertaining!
