I don't think it's a mouthful since you used a one syllable middle name. I think it's cute.

Yes, just a different spelling. It's a family name spelled that way, and Sue is a family name as well.

While I love family names, I wouldn't pronounce Colista the same as Callista. I thought Colista was Cole-iss-ta. ?

I think Colista Blomquist is a bit of a tongue-twister. I think the two "ist" sounds make it get tangled when I say it. Maybe that's just me though.

FWIW, if you spelled it Calista, you could call her "Callie" or "Cali" which would keep it from being so hard to say...Callie Blomquist.

I think the same thing. ?And I wouldn't have pronounced that Call-ista, I would have assumed it was Cole-ista, so you might have a lot of people saying it incorrectly.?
