I am from the first tri board, but I had a question that thought was best for you 2nd tri. How much weight did you gain in your first trimester? I had a drs appointment yesterday and I have gained 3 since I got my BFP.
with all the morning sickness I lost about 10lbs...it all depends but so long as your dr doesnt comment, you are doing just fine each body is going to range pretty drastically...GL
I would think your doctor (or google) would tell you 0-5 is normal for the first tri, but like others said it really doesn't matter much - unless you're starving yourself intentionally or eating three meals of chocolate ice cream per day, I'm pretty sure you're good.
I wasn't concerned about my weight gain! Good God you all freaked out. I was just wondering how much weight others have gained. I am ready to gain weight it is part of pregnancy just curious what others experiences have been.
I just had my 14 week appointment yesterday. I did not gain any weight in first trimester. In fact I had lost 5 pounds by 10 weeks and maintained that weight loss. Didn't lose anymore weight though. I was so relieved because when I was pregnant the first two times I gained 5 to 10 pounds by the end of the first trimester.
Weight gain is different for each woman. You really should talk with your Doctor about what he recommends for your total weight gain. If you're considered over-weight (like me, but I'm tall so it doesn't look like I am) then it's recommended that you only gain up to 25 pounds. If you're "normal" weight it's recommended that you gain 25 to 35 pounds. If you are underweight then it's recommended that you gain 28 to 40 pounds.

This. ?I gained like 15 and I didn't create a post asking if it was ok.?
I gained 0 in my first tri and have gained 1 pound now that I am a week or so into my second tri.
