So I got laid off last week, and I thought if I am going to be a SAHM for a while then it would be a good time to try homemade baby food. DS loved it so much! I made him plums, oatmeal and blueberry puree for breakfast, and lamb, potato and mixed veggies for dinner. I did this as a trial run, but I think I'm done with the store bought kind. Now I just need to stock up on ice cube trays and freezer bags.
Re: Homemade baby food a success!
seeing a freezer full of baby food brings me so much happiness...i am such a nerd but i love it.
i also calculate how much i am saving each time i make a big batch. you wll be amazed.
I just started making mine the last couple of days and am ready to puree anything in site...LOL..
It's so much fun and I hope that the novelty of it does not go away...
