I am curious about accupuncture used for infertility/reccurent pregnancy loss. My RE has not so much suggested or endorsed it, but they have mentioned that some of their patients try it and believe in it. After three losses, I am thinking about looking into it. Has anyone else tried it? Has it been successful for you? Are there any other details or information that you can point me to so that I can look into this more?
Re: Anyone tried accupuncture w/ success?
Since I am not out of the first tri, I am not sure that I count as success yet. I have done acupuncture though. I had two losses at 5 weeks that my RE chalked up to getting pregnant to quickly post IUD and the awful lining it caused. I was doing acu in tandem and she diagnosed me with thyroid problems.
I really feel that the combo of acu, which helps increase bloodflow to the uterus (and grows lining), along with the comfort of seeing the RE and knowing my thyroid was getting taken care of helped me tremendously!

I had accupunture after my miscarriage. I have fibroids and PCOS and I hoped that it would help me get pregnant again and carry to term. If nothing else, it was a relaxing escape every week. I continued through my first trimester.
