Delta- C+ It says that the basic Jenny Lind cribs are a good deal at $110, buts low end furniture with low end quality. Example- no spring mattress platform-only a piece of flat mdf. The reason for the low grade is that they've had a few high profile recalls.
Legacy/Childcraft- B+ Solid value with cribs at Target for about $200, with Legacy at about $400-$500. If the one you are looking for is at the more expensive end, they recommend going for the higher quality Westwood or Munire even if it means the extra money for a dresser.

I have the 8th edition (I think the newest version) and it gives Delta a big fat F for all of the recent recalls ("In the past, we suggested low-end Delta cribs might be a good bet for Grandma's house. But given the safety problems, we wouldn't recommend a Detla crib for occasional use.") and it gives Childcraft a C+ ("So, how's the quality? Sadly, this line is a shadow of its former self. Over time, quality has slipped and the workmanship now disappoints. It's unclear if the made-in America set Child Craft plans for 2009 will reverse this trend. Overall, we still like Child Craft's cribs, but just about everything else (dressers, accessories) isn't up to snuff.")
Re: For those with Baby Bargains book...
