Enfamil Gentlease

We saw the pediatrician this morning for DD's 1 month appt. She switched her from Enfamil premium to Gentlease due to her being gassy and fussy. For those of you who switched, did you notice an improvement? Also, does it come in liquid? I've been searching online and can only find powder; I hate powder and DD seems to also!

Re: Enfamil Gentlease

  • We just made the switch to the Gentlease two days ago, so far haven't really seen a difference. Her gas is actually pretty bad, maybe even worse than it was before we switched, but it doesn't seem to bother her as much. I couldn't decide between the enfamil or the similac sensitive, but we're trying the enfamil for awhile to see what happens. i think i saw some liquid at the drugstore, but i'm not positive about that.

  • We made the switch and they are doing great with it.  We were even able to take them off Zantac and rarely use gas drops now.

We have only ever used powder - we go through so much off it that the liquid would bankrupt us.  I have never seen the liquid in stores.

Maybe if you make a pitcher up and keep it in the fridge that might make it easier - you will only have to deal with the powder once a day.

  • We made the switch 2 weeks ago and not only did it not help with gas AT ALL it gave her diarrhea. We are switching back to premium with gas drops to see if that helps any. If not then off to something else. Good luck and I hope it helps your LO.

We switched to Gentlease and saw a world of difference. Matthew went from a screaming baby with gas pains to pooping every day and much more content.

Oh and he was so so so constantly fussy. It really did help, can't hurt to try.
