Usually when I come on here at work it's dead at my office. I'm the receptionist and I've had one call in the last two hours. Not to mention, there are about 4 other people left in the office.
For some strange reason (note the sarcasm) everyone disappears very early from our office on sunny friday afternoons.
It makes the last hour not drag on forever.
Re: why I don't feel bad bumping at work.
Don't you think you can find something to organize? You're on company time.
Just kidding. Go girl!

I work in a real estate office in Alaska (where the market wasn't really hit at all) as a receptionist.. and there hasn't been one single person here for the past two hours. Literally. I feel like calling it a day.
Also, for the last hour that my fellow receptionists were here they were outside with a fake deer hooked up to one of their cars, driving around the parking lot putting on the brakes.. Because when you brake it throws up it's arms and screams so the person behind you looks like they're hitting the deer..
So I REALLY REALLY don't feel bad bumping at work.
