How many ring sizes did you change?

I'm looking for backup rings in case my fingers swell and I'm trying to figure out how big I'd need to go.

I would wait until that time come. You may not even need one, but you could go up a few sizes...too hard to predict.

mine are getting snug, but I'm still wearing mine! My e-ring (which is actually a wedding band) is a size larger than my wedding ring (which looks more like a right-hand ring) I may end up just wearing my e-ring... but the designer that made my ring put this piece at the back so it could be sized easily... still haven't decided what I'm gonna do when I can't wear them any more...

Yikes so I may need several backup rings? My rings get a little snug at the end of the day but it could just be heat related since my fingers always swell in the humidity. I told DH I'm not willing to go ringless in public ever, so I kinda want to have them ordered in case I need them.

I was lucky, my fingers never swelled enough to not be able to wear my ring with #1. So far so good with this pregnancy too. So maybe wait until you need it. For me I think it helped that DS was born in the winter so I didn't have the added swelling that heat sometimes causes.?

Weirdly my engagement ring is a quarter size smaller then my wedding band and my wedding band is the one that feels tighter. I really don't want to size mine if I can help it, I can always tell when platinum has been sized and my wedding band is a plain plat band so I'd be able to tell and it would drive me nuts. Hmmm...if my fingers don't go back to normal I guess I have an argument for a new band.

By the end of the day, my fingers swell thru the grooves of my wedding ring (the big scroll one), and you can see the pattern in my finger! But I haven't worn it long enough (we've been married for almost 18mos) to take it off, yet!

Oh, and sorry the pic is so big... just pulled it straight from FB...

awww... thanks... DH had it designed for me... it's hard to describe without showing the pic. See why I never like taking it off (which I am doing right now!)?

I'm definitely considering getting it sized, because who knows when I'll be able to wear it once I can't wear it any more... but, the summer will be over by October, and my fingers always shrink in the winter...

I'm gonna be so peeved when my rings don't fit anymore. ?I'm not a skinny girl by any stretch of the imagination, but my ring finger is a 4.75, so my rings are really, really small. ?Now that it's summer, everyday is a small battle to get my rings off. ?I just barely got an awesome upgrade from my original solitaire, I wanna be able to rock it. ?Stupid swollen fingers!! ?I won't get a replacement, not matter how cheap, I'll probably just get a strong necklace and wear them from it.

Lucky it is gorgeous! My DH had me pick mine out and me being ever clueless just picked one out online and went with clarity and cut over size b/c I had no idea what I was doign and mine is just a cathedral setting I wish he had picked one out for me but then again, I never really got a proposal so it is sort of par for the course so to speak lol. (Too much Captain Morgan one night and he slipped up that he thought we should "just get married in Key West", apparently thinking it was like Vegas or something. So we ended up planning a wedding in like 2 months and he didn't like "officially" pop the question until a month before...during sex. I think my ring came in like 3 weeks before we actually got married LOL).

I love my husband but romance was NOT his first language LOL.
