2nd Trimester

Going grocery shopping- need healthy snack ideas...

 I have the whole raw veggies thing figured out... I have the fruit and cheese and crackers.... I need something healthy to snack on. I am getting sick of my old faithfuls...

 Any suggestions?

  • yogurt ? i eat this for my mid morning snack everyday. other than that its mostly fruit for me. also hard boiled eggs - im taking the bradley class & they're telling us to eat two eggs everyday. ugh.
  • I eat those 100% frozen juice bars...they are so yummy!
  • Unsweetened applesauce. It's good for the sweet tooth! Smile

  • I love baked doritos & salsa, Pretzels w/ low fat cream cheese, plums, oranges, fat free popsicles. 

  • Mixed nuts, yogurt, unsweetened applesauce, pretzels with peanut butter or low fat cheese dip, all fruit popcicles, or popcorn.
  • My faves are half a red bell pepper filled with cottage cheese and greek or plain yogurt mixed with honey.

    Celery or apples with peanut butter....apples are good with cheddar too!

  • If you don't mind chopping -- bruschetta is a super healthy snack!   :)
