Update on ongoing saga of DH and I: filed for divorce finally

Just wanted to update everyone on what was going on with me and DH.  I finally made the ultimate decision to file.  I signed the paperwork this morning and I feel really good about it.  I also got a temporary restraining order with the pics of the drugs and door that he bashed in.  I feel really good about my decision.  Thanks to all of the ladies for their support!  I really appreciate everyone's advice and thoughts and prayers.

    I think you were the first person to congratulate me when I announced on 1st tri that I was pregnant. I remember your wedding picture. It's amazing how these board can help you through hard times. Please know that you have been and will be in my thoughts. Best of luck to you. My best friend is going through the same thing right now.

    I will still put his name on the birth certificate but I don't think I will call him when I go into labor-just when baby is born.

    Good for you for having the strength and fortitude to make this incredibly difficult choice. ?You are looking out for yourself and your LO which already makes you a GREAT mom. ?Good luck to you with everything, especially your birth. ?I hope you have someone close to you that will be there for you in the beginning. ?Either way all of us will be here for you too.

    I remember your first post about finding the drugs, but I must have missed the whole door bashing incident.

    WOW!

    Congrats on making such a huge decision . . . I think it was the smartest thing you can do for both yourself and your child.  Your a strong woman and I admire the courage and strength you have.
