Bye bye wedding rings..

well it's official, I no longer think I'll be able to get my wedding bands off pretty soon. last night it took me almost 5 minutes to get them off my finger and when I finally did, I had a bright red line on my finger from the swelling. I don't swell all the time but when I do my rings really bother my fingers. Soo I figure instead of taking the risk that i might wear them too long and can't get them off at all, they've been retired to my jewellry box.

it's a sad day :(

    I took mine off weeks ago. I told HD he needed to get me a pretty replacement for the time being. Needless to say, I'm still ringless. We did look though and found a couple, but I really don't need one. I just get annoyed with the looks sometimes, like other posters have mentioned.

    I had to take mine off at 20 weeks. Now they can hardly make it to my first knuckle. I miss them so much!

    I took mine off this week too.  It's very sad.  I'm thinking of just going and buying a silver ring of some sort to wear on my finger.  The ironic thing is that DH lost his a few weeks ago in the house and he's determined to find it before shelling out money for a new one.  I wasn't too upset about him losing it as ours weren't super expensive as we kind of eloped on a spur of the moment thing.  But now, we are both walking around without rings on while I'm all knocked up.  I know I shouldn't care what others think, but it's kinda bothering me that both of us are without rings right now.

    yeah, my fingers swell in the evenings, and then I forget to put the rings back on in the morning - it might be time to find a pretty (and strong) chain to wear them on!

    I'm heading in the same direction.  I was really hoping they wouldn't swell since they didn't with my first pregnancy.

    I retired mine today too...I got a cheap replacement (in a size up-looks similar to my band) for the time being..I felt so naked without anything!  :(
