Babies: 0 - 3 Months

Let me preface this by saying

I do not let Sam watch tv. However, I have it on because our weather is crappy and Maryland is stupid and does not have sirens, so I have to watch the weather on television.

Anyway, Sam is basically dancing on his belly while trying to look at the television. He never does this. He normally screams his head off until I pick him up. But he's LOVING his belly right now. It is the cutest thing I've ever seen. ?

  • My DD has recently started to always turn her head towards it. I don't see any harm is small doses actually. All she can see is movement and some color right now.  But that sounds really really cute!!!

  • I say go for it! ?Nathan is not a tummy time fan either but if we do it on the couch where he can see he tv it goes much better. ?It's not like I'd leave him there watching tv for long but seriously, whatever it takes! ?: )

Agreed. Baby Einstein DVD's are actually a life saver. Encourage development AND give mommy time to wash bottles, make bed, etc. But I have to try it for tummy time.

This. I grew up on Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers Neighbourhood and I'm just fine, thank you very much :)
