Anyone know of a good place? I usually go to the one in Hawthorne Mall, but it's so-so. TIA!

    I like French Nails in Libertyville. It's a step above the mall nail shops, but not a fancy salon. It's a nice in-between.

    There's another one I go to, at the corner of Butterfield and 176, but can't remember the name of it for the life of me. A little cheaper than French Nails, but still a bit of a step above the mall. (It's in that plaza with the Dunkin Donuts and the laundromat).

    I used to work at Hewitt (the location on Milwaukee) and I would sometimes stop on my way home and get my nails done at a place in the plaza at Milwaukee and Deerfield Rd., next to the LA Tan/Panera.  From what I remember they give shoulder massages while your nails are drying for free!
