We had our very first....

BLOW OUT today...in the middle of Garden Ridge...and it was BAD!  I saw her grunting a little then I got wind of the smell.  I thought is was just a normal poop.  So, I wheeled over to bathroom and took her in.  First of all, those little changing things can be so nasty so I sterilized it with about 5 antibacterial wipes and covered with with a blanket then I laid her down and  removed her shorts.  Whoa...I noticed they were wet in the back then I got a glimpse of her onesie...POOP EVERYWHERE Surprise  And get this, no change of clothes!!!  What was I thinking???  BAD MOMMY!  Will never forget extra clothes again because the ride home was pretty stinky!

    You are so lucky that was your first one - my little man does it all the time - as soon as he goes - it goes out the diaper - no matter what brand of diaper I use! ?

    did you leave her w/ her clothes on?  I would have gotten my LO down to his diaper.

    Well, I took the onesie off and scrubbed it with wipes and put it back on her.  I didn't know what else to do!  Needless to say, we left the store immediately and went home to change clothes.

    I had that happen to me too!!!  And I was sitting down holding him, I had a change of clothes for DS, but I was the one in serious need.

    What diapers do you use?  I have not had the problem ever since getting rid of freaking Costco diapers.  (Kirkland Signature)  They SO suck.

    We've been using Huggies Supreme and haven't had any problems!  Maybe she's starting to grow out of the size 1 or something??  I've definitely been lucky so far!

    My SIL never leaves home without an extra outfit for herself. She has two boys (13mths apart) and they have blowouts (extreme) all the time! She was telling me that she was visiting her friend whom she hadn't seen in a long time and they were going to have a playdate. Well, the one decided to spill something on himself, so she changed him. No sooner had her other one had a blowout while she was holding him (wearing white shorts and a white tee) and she didn't have an extra outfit. Once I found out I was expecting, I kept that in mind and I always keep an extra something for myself.  Not to mention, when I was BFing, I was sure to keep an eye on leaking and keep and extra top or two!
