Can I say I have honestly never felt this way before?

I feel like I really made a difference with one of my clients. She was overjoyed with all the progress we made today, and it was so humbling thinking about my problems in comparison to hers. Its sad to say, but in three years of teaching I don't think I felt this way more than once or twice. Yay for warm fuzzies.

What kind of work are you doing? I know you left teaching, but have no idea what you're doing now...is it some sort of social services?
