eating less or more efficient??

my LO seems to suddenly be spending a lot less time on the breast. i am a little worried about him eating enough (although he doesn't act starving)

also- he has been very fussy on the breasts with gas pains (but my less time on the breast concern is even without gas fussiness)

anyone have similar experiences?

as long as he's gaining weight and has the correct # of dirty/wet diapers I would try not to be concerned
