it isn't real?

Like you can take another test and nothing's there? I keep freaking myself out - like I'm going to wake up from the best dream I've ever had even though all my symptoms are still prevelant. My boobs are killing me. AF took a vacation. Hungry hungry and can't sleep.

Yet I'm still questioning it?

Yep! As a matter of fact, I have my first appointment today (just to confirm and such) and I'm SO nervous that they are going to tell me I'm not pregnant. Even though I've probably POAS about 10 times with all positives! LOL I think it's normal to feel like it isn't real or it's going to "go away". I even had a dream last night that they did my first ultra sound and nothing was there and they thought I was crazy. I think it's pretty normal to feel like this, especially if you've been waiting a while for a BFP.

Yes. I actually thought of buying HPTs just to see the line. I think after my first u/s next week it will finally sink in.

Yes, I still think it's not real at 8 weeks. I have no m/s so that adds to it. My boobs are very sore and that's about it.

I feel the exact same way. I kept looking at the HPT every day to make sure I was reading it correctly! I feel like it I won't be real until I see my doctor and he confirms. I have to wait until 8/21 for that!

That's how I felt at first. I kept thinking the symptoms were all in my head and my dr was going to tell me I wasnt really pregnant. Seeing my baby the first time on the u/s and seeing the heart beat made it REALLY real!

It still doesn't feel real to me. I really don't feel any different besides having to get up and pee once or twice a night. My first appointment is Tuesday so I only have 4 more days of waiting. It is driving me crazy! I just want to see the u/s and then it will really seem real. I can't wait!

When I went in for my first ultrasound I was scared they were going to tell me there was nothing in there. I think it's a common feeling among pregnant women. Smile

I think it's finally hit me this week after my 12 week u/s. Even though I am always nauseous and bloated.

I had an u/s at 8wks but it still didn't seem real.

Yes! I know how you feel; I have had 3 sonograms and I have seen my angel move and heard the heartbeat.On top of that, I haven't had any morning sickness, so I get paranoid sometimes that something might be wrong.

Yup, I feel like that too. I think most pregnant women feel that way at some point.

No symptoms here either, and I know that's part of my dis-belief. Isn't it crazy that some of us are "wishing" ourselves sick so we'd have some kind of proof? I imagine even if we did feel sick, we still might not believe it.

I feel exactly the same! Cristina - it's cool tht you were married at Dreams in Tulum. We actually own a sma ll casa 10 miles north of there... So if you ever want to go back to the area

I'm right there with ya. I don't have any morning sickness, or any symptoms for that matter except for very sore boobs, so I constantly question whether I'm still pregnant. I have to wait until 8/31 for my first OB appointment where I'll get my u/s and can't wait! I'll be 9 1/2 weeks along then. But I do think it's funny that I "wish" that I was sick so I could know that I'm still pregnant.

In fact, the other day my DH and I were walking home from dinner and I was actually feeling "a little" sick (barely) and when I told my DH this he got a big smile on his face. I told him that I'm glad he gets so happy now to hear when I'm not feeling well!

It hasn't hit me yet either.. I guess when I see my U/S on the 11th.. It will finally be real to me.. I think i have took 7 HPT and they are all positive..

Yup I have POAS everyday since I got my BFP so I now have 10 positives. I think when I finally go to my first appt and everything is confirmed and I see the heartbeat I will relax.
