Questions for those who have had LO on Zantac

He's on a low dose (1 mL) twice a day and has been taking it for about 2 days so far.  I've noticed a marked increase in his naps/sleepiness and was wondering if this might be a side effect of some sort or just the med working and him resting better b/c no reflux...his appetite (we exclusively BF) also seems to be lighter but he's always had lighter meals at times of the day and heavier meals at others...so hard to say if this is related or not.  Anyone else have experience?

    mine just started 3 days ago. it is almost 6pm here now and we haven't had a crying fit or a bad nursing session yet today (knock on wood). he has been sleeping a lot better, and eating a lot better too. i don't think he's been eating less, but he's eating in a calmer way--not freaking out like before.

    My LO is on .8ml twice a day for two days as well.  Haven't noticed any difference in sleepiness or appetite today, although he is much calmer (::also knocks on wood::).

    I read that sometimes reflux babies may eat more because somehow it's soothing - maybe he was actually overeating before?  No idea about the naps - maybe he's just catching up as you said.

    We just started this morning- LO is taking 1.2 ml twice a day.  I am really hopeful (mostly because I don't know what else to do!).  TimsMayBride- we also named our DS Conor with one n!  Love the name and the spelling. ;)
