Keeping baby awake during feedings

How do you keep your LO awake before bedtime feedings?  DC will go to town around 9/9:30, but wont let you put him to sleep afterwards.  He gets tired enough to sleep around 11, but by then he is hungry again and wont sleep soundly until he eats.  Unfortunately, he can't stay awake long enough to get full, and when he's passes out in his crib, he wakes up 15 min later wanting to feed again.

We've tried taking off his sleeper, a cold washcloth on the cheek, and moving his arms/legs, etc. Anyother tricks you use???

I have found this to be the most frustrating part of breastfeeding.  I find that tickling him along his jawline and pulling out my nipple halfway works some of the time.  Unfortunately, there isn't anything that has worked all of the time.  GL!

These are the 2 things I was going to suggest. Also, try gently blowing into his face.
