Happy frigging birthday to me (vent)

Today is my birthday. Let me give you a recap of the last 12 hours.  DS is normally a great sleeper, but not last night. Last night he was up 10+ TIMES (I stopped counting). So I'm freaking exhausted and then I get a migraine. Noah wants to be held non-stop today (not like him) so I can't even sit down. He won't nap and he won't stop fussing.  My in-laws are pissing me off lately and won't leave us alone. They sent an email this morning and asked if we wanted to drive over and see them this weekend since today is my birthday. No, actually, I don't want to drive an hour to see you just so I can sit there and be miserable (especially on my birthday weekend). And they don't want to see me, they want to see DS. 

All of this is making me super grumpy and (sadly) short with DS, I just need a break.  Oh yeah, then I told myself, it's your birthday don't be in a bad mood. So I decided to take DS on a walk. I go out in the garage and see that DH took the stroller out of my car and put it right up next to the opening where lots of rain came in last night. Apparently the stroller got soaked and when I opened it up....maggots. Fvcking great.

 So yeah. Today kind of sucks.

    if your in-laws want to see, let them drive over, it's your birthday after all.  that sucks about the stroller.  umm..how about an early happy hour?

    May be call DH and tell him about your birthday thus far so he can be extra everything and make it a better birthday when he gets home ?

    ITA and I second the early happy hour.  After all, it's your birthday, it's Friday and after all of this - you deserve it!

    So sorry about the stroller!!!  I don't blame you for not wanting to go to your in-laws..try to do something for yourself today if you can! Happy Birthday!!
