NBR: Uploading photos for printing

I know I can do snapfish or something web based but I'd really like to upload photos to a local CVS, Target or Sam's Club and pick them up today.  Have any of you had any luck with that and do you recommend one place over another?  Also I'm trying to upload photos from a Mac and my CVS album keeps failing -- so any tips on how to make this work would be appreciated.  Thanks!

  • I use Costco.com to upload/order 1-hour photos and they turn out great!

  • I have used Walgreens and am always pleased with them.  They usually have deals too.  I have used Walmart which I would guess should be like Sam's Club quality and liked them as well.  Although I think they're 1-hour photos are luster and not glossy if that makes a difference to you.
  • I've used WalGreens - I like it. never had any problems.

  • I do Walgreens also. They usually have a coupon code for deals - just go to their online flyer and look through. And I've compared Walmart prints to Walgreens  and I personally think the color turns out better with Walgreens. The only thing is if you order online and you want Matte finish you have to call the store and ask them to do it in Matte - otherwise they automatically do it in glossy.
