  I have stage 4 endo with endometriomas on both ovaries.  I had IVF done even w/ the endometriomas as my RE suggested not to have any more laps b/c of scarring of the ovaries (I only ever had 1 lap)

  It took my 3 IVF's but honestly the first two were messed up b/c of nurses errors so I really believe if we did the last protocol properly on the first one we may have had success a lot earlier.

  Either way, I forgot the name of the protocol but I'll describe it.  I took bcp for 14 days, stopped for 3 days and then started microdose Lupron for I think a few days before starting Follistim for about 8 days.  I remember the Lupron and Follistim overlapped for a while.  Out of all three IVF's, that was my best as I produced 12 eggs and 9 were mature.

  Me!  The Microdose Lupron Flare protocol was sucessful for me on the first try.  Good luck!

  Wow!  Great success story!  Thank you so much for sharing.  Congrats to you.  I knew there HAD to be someone out there!  I will brace myself for a few tries

  Hi there. I have stage 4 endo. I had my first and only lap in July of 08, took Lupron for 6 months, and then did our first ivf this past January. ?I did not take BCPs. I took Lupron for two weeks, then Gonal F and Menopur. Unfortunately, we did not get to transfer due to severe OHSS. ?We did an FET in May and I am pregnant! ?Good luck to you and know that it can work!
