I thought that didn't start until 6months+? DD is rolling and holding her chest pretty high off the ground and making sort of swimming motions, but no true crawling movement yet.

Not even close. DS can turn himself in circles during tummy time and sometimes scoots backwards when he is really trying to move forward, but he is not even getting on all fours and rocking yet. We visited with friends who have a 8 month old crawler and after that experience I think I prefer DS immobile.

K is kind of army crawling on his blanket and in his crib. I wouldn't really call it crawling yet - but a definite prelude.

We've got a creeper. She gets on all fours and tries to move, but then gives up and is satisfied with creeping. She moves feet in minutes. It's a bit scary and I have to figure out this babyproofing crap soon...

A can army crawl for short distances. She uses the army crawl to get herself pointed in the right direction and then rolls to where she wants to be. LOL

I have had a crawler since about 5 months 1 week. he is now pulling to a standing position and has been doing so for the past 2 1/2 weeks. Crazy little boy!
