Recommend your baby gate

I need a wall mounted one--not pressure mounted--because it will be at the top of the stairs. I have a 40 lb dog (tall, though), too, and it needs to withstand him putting his front paws on top of it.

We'd like the swing open kind but are open to anything that seems to work well. That's our main concern--DS not falling down the stairs because the gate doesn't hold his weight.

IVF #2 (Apr 2012) EPP/Antagonist with ICSI - 10R, 7M, 6 ICSI'd, 2F. 3DT = BFN AMH tested by new RE 6/2012 - 2! Saving money for IVF #3. Started a ton of supplements in May 2012 and hoping for a miracle! SURPRISE BFP!! (October 2012)

    we have an evenflo secure step gate. It is hardward mounted into the wall and is very easy for an adult to operate. Once shown how...LOL.  We have 2 big dogs (see siggy) and they could not get over it. We really like it.
