Babysitting Pay?

I may be keeping an almost-2 month old for 2 weeks (her mom has to go back to work 2 weeks before the daycare has a spot for her). I'm wondering how much I should be getting paid for this. I have no experience with daycare/in-home care costs. Obviously I have all kinds of baby gear here, so she would only really need to bring formula/EBM & diapers.

Any thoughts on what would be reasonable?

    My Mom used to earn $200/week as a nanny but that was several years back. I have no idea what the going rate is now...

    I would say $120 - $140 a week is the norm for in-home care in our area. ?I paid $120 for Kylie per week for the hours of 7:30 - 5:30.

    I paid my nannies $8 an hour, but I think that is a different situation than what you are describing because the nanny came to my home and DD was the only responsibility she had.?

    I would say $30 a day, or $150 a week.

    We have a nanny which is slightly different but we pay her $10/hr.

    My law partner paid $25 a day for in home daycare to the ladies that they have used here around Kville.  Hope that helps!
