ok, I'm 38 and only NOW do I get a regular period. I have PCOS and I maybe got three periods a year until after I gave birth (Sam was IVF). Now I am right on time...yipee.
holy freaking moley, my back hurts, like really, really hurts! I'm swollen, and the fatigue is knocking me on my ass. I tried to go for a run and I really thought about calling DH to come and pick me up. It was NEVER like this before.
Midol? does that even work? is there something better? drug recs, please, nothing homeopathic!

My post-partum-periods have been atrocious. Like, atrocious in every way possible. I am a fan of Midol, because of the caffeine, but if your back is aching, definitely take Aleve.
I also use my heating pad during day one...ugh. I'll have mine next week, unless my running has suppressed it (which has been hit or miss, lately; I keep the pregnancy test industry alive).
Midol=expensive ibuprofen and acetaminophen. So, I just take 600 mg of Motrin every six hours and Darvocet as needed (my cramps can be pretty unbearable when I have an ovarian cyst).
