We had some friends over for dinner, but now I am here. I spent the evening slaving away at the stove, barefoot and (not)pregnant in the kitchen. Now I'm a wee bit drunk and should head to bed...but since I'm on cd1, there's no point in heading to bed early b/c there's no action to be had. waaaah.

Leah- the radio said record highs for seattle today. Is that true? I dont erally trust our local raido to inform us properly of the rest of the worlds weather. They're usually a week late.

Restore you faith in your local radio station. Today was 95 (a record for the day)... but today was much cooler than yesterday. Yesterday, it was 103, which was an all time record. It SUCKED. I was tempted to sleep at work since there is A/C there... DH wouldn't allow it though.

that is really hot for seattle! It has been so nice here this summer it is starting to freak me out. July only had zero days in the 90s. The record books indicate it has never happened here before in july.

It is crazy. We are setting highs for evening lows too, which makes sleeping tough. It's rarely above 90 here all summer.

I thought when I left the mid-west I would escape this heat.

Apparantly we traded places this summer! I hate when it is hot like that at night. It makes for miserable sleeping. I wouldn't be able to survive summer here without a/c.

humidity is horrific here too. we are in a valley and the river makes it all crazy i guess.

I was watching the Pip. I can see the pics on bump, but when I try to bring them up to copy/paste I get blocked. doesn't make any sense. That was definately one of the finest pip wars I've ever seen. so sad I couldn't join in!
