Weeks 5-7, I was a total zombie. People at work were noticing how tired I looked, and I was napping for 2 hours almost every day after work. Around week 8, I started having a little more energy. I'm still more tired than usual, but it did improve.
I know it sounds like the last thing you want to do, but if you can manage even a 20 minute walk, it might help boost your energy level.
I am! I was exhausted after lunch (I'm in London) and layed down for a few minutes that turned into a 2 hour nap. And I thought I was having a "good day" before that! Oh well. Everyone has been telling me it will get better - I hope they're right!
I'm always soooo tired! I fell asleep (off and on) on the couch last night after DDs batch (about 8:30). Finally gave up and went to bed about 9:30. Woke up at 5:30 and still feel like I didn't sleep enough!
After week 9 it's let up a little bit, but I am still amazed at my capacity to sleep. Before, napping for an hour-and-a-half in the afternoon then sleeping a full night's sleep was unheard of. Not so, anymore.

**raises hand** It sucks. Sitting at a stressful desk job doesn't help at this point either. Every day is miserable right now when I can't be in bed. Kill me.

I go to bed tired and wake up tired... it seems never ending and its been like this for a week or so already! maybe more, I can't remember I'm too tired! lol
Yep I have felt like that for the past couple of weeks. It was so bad at work the other day I had 2 people ask if I was pregnant, cause I wasn't acting myself. And that was just an 8 hour shift, where I got to sleep in till 8. I am not looking forward to the next 2 days which are 12 hour shifts, getting up at 5:30. I am hoping I get some energy back soon.
I feel your pain! I've been ridiculously exhausted since about week 5; it hasn't gotten better yet, but I'm holding out for the 2nd trimester light at the end of the tunnel! I sleep for 8 - 9 hours and still have to take a nap when I can!
I wish I could get in bed earlier.. at home, I end up watching TV and reading baby books and doing random things around the house. Then alllll day I'm exhausted. I guess even if I went to sleep at 8 I'd be tired the next day, huh?
It amazes me how tired Iam. Some people say it gets better...Well Im dying for the day this gets better. Sitting in a cube 8 hours a day working is just too much when you feel like a ton of bricks is weighing you down because your so tired. I hope this part gets better soon. The thing that stinks for me is at night I can only sleep for a few hours at night and then I wake up. I just dont get because im so tired through out the day...Does it ever get better?!.
