beta #2 (12dp5dt) = 635. is that low?

Beta #2 this AM. Nurse said my number is 635, which is (and I quote her): "Good but on the low side". This has got me really really nervous now!! I read up on hCG levels on 10+ websites and all they keep telling me is that there is a wide range of acceptable numbers.

My beta #1 was 190 which was 72 hours ago on Monday. That puts my doubling time (there was an online calculator for this) at 41.0 hours. Isn't that a good number!!? Why would she say my number is good but low? Does she mean for twins? (We transferred two).

Someone, please reassure me!! I don't want to freak out but I keep running the conversation over and over again in my head....

    call me crazy but those numbers sound good to me! I thought the doubling time was every 48-72 hrs? So you my friend are def KU!

    See my betas in siggy.  I think it is all about proper doubling time.  My started off extremely low (19 on 9dp3dt), but was up to 400ish by 15dp3dt, which is still lower than yours.  Good luck!

    I think your numbers are fine! I hate nurses sometimes.

    I hate when nurses say stuff like that!  All it does is make us worry needlessly!  I think your numbers sound right on track :)  Congratulations!!!

    Congrats!! I must have missed your post on Monday with the positive beta. Those numbers sound great!! I had my first beta at 17dpiui and it was 524, which both the nurse and RE said meant I was "very, very pregnant." Don't listen to that idiot you spoke to!

    OMG why is the nurse trying to drive me crazy!?!?!? Indifferent I want to laugh and pull my hair out at the same time.

    Thanks for the reassurances, ladies! After 3 years of TTC, I'm still holding my breath. Isn't it funny--- I refuse to tell anyone IRL but I'll blab about it all over TTTC!

    My 12dp5dt beta was 159.  Yours is spectacular and your nurse must be crazy.

    Your nurse is a whack job.  Mine was 274 @ 12dp5dt (and I am pregnant with twins).

    After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

    My RE schedules betas for 12dp5dt and he only wants to see 150.  So, I say that is pretty awesome.

    Go to www.betabase.info and plug your numbers it - it will give you a better idea of where that falls.

    My first beta was at 15dp3dt at it was only 147. I think 635 is fabulous!

    My beta's are below but you can see what mine was at 11dp5dt.  To me it doesn't sound that low.

    those #s sound great.  ignore that nurse - she sounds like an idiot.  she is an idiot for even saying that to you.  60% in 48 hours is what they look for, so you surpassed that.

    Congrats.  As everyone said, that is a good number.
    Beautiful Miracle Baby lost at 21 weeks due to pre-term labor and incompetent cervix. FET#1 BFN, FET#2 BFP, early loss. FET#3 BFN. IVF#2 BFFN.
