We FINALLY found a crib that dh and I both liked. The "changing table" that matches the crib looks just like a dresser, without a lip or rail attached. Is this safe to just put the changing pad on top of this type of furniture? Does anyone have kids and used this type of setup. The dresser is 500$ and i don't want to waste that money if i will eventually need something else or put the baby on the floor with a mat to change her diaper. WDYT??
Re: Changing table question
It is perfectly safe! Ours is on Rylie's dresser and it isn't attached. I would never leave my baby unattended on it, and that would be the only way it would be unsafe.
Same for us...DH just attached the straps to the back of the dresser with screws...its perfectly stable
THey should all have straps..you can just screw through the straps I believe
This. You wont be leaving baby on the changing table alone whether there is a rail there or not. You will be fine.
