hate waiting!

My cycle has been very regular since going off BCP 6 months ago (actually, it was really regular before I started using BCP as well). Each month it has been exactly 28 days. This month---I am on day 30 and no period, but I've taken several pregnancy tests over the past few days (most recently this morning) and all have been negative. The uncertainty is driving me crazy. I know most likely my period is just late and will come soon enough, but I usually get cramps two days beforehand and have yet to experience those either. I'm hoping that maybe, just maybe I just don't have enough hormone in my urine yet to be detected by the tests. ::sigh:: Has anyone had this experience and then found out they were in fact pregnant? How late after the expected stat of your menstrual cycle? -j

My first cycle was 39 days and my second was 43. It is normal to have irregular cycles when coming off bcp. GL!

This happened to my best friend . She was taking the test wrong bc her urine stream was not constant. She then tried the pee in a cup method and bfp!!! Maybe try that

don't bank on normal cycles just off BCP. I've been off since April, had a 28 day cycle, 32, then a whopping 52 day cycle. I freaked out, I cried alot, I went to the dr to figure out what was going on.

Just be patient and get onto fertfilityfriend.com like one of the pp says. You will learn alot about your body and will know what signs to look for etc.

GL - if you get to cd60 with no AF call your dr.

i feel your pain i am in the same boat, just gotta wait it out and see what happens, at this point i am just hoping for AF so i can begin charting so i do not have to worry about what the heck is going on all the time, GL and keep testing or wait for the b*tch AF to show up!!!

This made me think of the HPT commercial "1 in 4 women take pregnancy tests incorrectly" or something like that. LOL

OP, all I can say is wait and POAS, wait and POAS. 60 days or more, call your doctor. If you don't know when you ovulated, you don't know when to expect AF. GL to you.

Huh, I'll be nice. Do you know when you ovulated? If not, if AF doesn't show in 60 days see your Doctor.

Thanks for all the replies. I know that cycles can fluctuate -- especially after coming off BCP, I just would have expected it more right away -- not starting 6 months after coming of BCP. I was only even on BCP for about 8 months. I've been thinking about starting charting. I gave it a couple of months for my body to adjust post BCP and then I was out of town for work for most of 2-months and couldn't very well TTC?.so we've really only been seriously TTC for the past two months. I actually bought a basal thermometer this week and signed up for fertility friend, but have been waiting for my period to start using it -- and it hasn't arrived yet. Like one of the other posters said -- I just want AF to start so I can get on with it (well, I really want a positive pregnancy test, but you know what I mean?)
