great idea for 2nd time mom (+) baby shower!

just saw this on one of those TLC shows.  they gave the mom a 'pot luck dinner' baby shower (everyone brought a pre-prepared frozen meal for the family after the baby).  of course there could be a couple cutsie baby items to open, but i thought that was neat.  ...i'm not sure where i would store all those frozen dinners in my one small freezer though...  i'm sure i could make it work.  ;)

    That is a good idea.  As a guest, I think I'd bring and "IOU" - I'll bring you a meal in a few weeks!  Just to save room. :-)  My parents kept us well stocked, but space was an issue.

    I did this- one meal a month with sides and fixings- for 6 months for a friend that just had twins. She loved it and told everyone about it.
