My parents aren't coming to DD's birthday.

I'm so bummed, they just called to tell me they can't fly in now because my Grandpa has been given 2-3 days to live. I'm assuming with my luck he will pass Saturday morning, so I can be a wreck for the whole party.

Death sucks.

    I am so sorry about your Grandpa! I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers. And I am sorry that your parents won't be at your DD's party, it has to be so hard for them to miss it.

    I was just really excited for her to have both sets of grandparents in pictures! Especially since this is probably the only "big" party she will have until she's much older with friends. Bummer.

    I am sorry too- if that does happen and the party isn't as happy as you thought/wanted...I say do another party next year to celebrate so you have a happy memory with both sets of grandparents.
