Just wondering

How long did it take your milk to come in PP for everyone?  I thought it took everyone about 3 days (that was my number), but saw someone disagreeing with this on another board.

    It was about 3-4 days.  We had latch issues at the hospital so I started pumping ASAP and was feeding DS colostrum via syringe.  So I remember exactly when my milk came in because it obviously looked different.

    I was at 2.5 days.  Ryan was in the NICU for our stay so I pumped to get things going but never produced any colostrum, and when we were discharged with him that evening (so 2.5) I was leaking.

    DD was born Wednesday afternoon, by Saturday morning milk was in.

    born friday afternoon, milk came in tues night/wed so 5 days....
    5/08- blighted ovum, spont ab; 2/20/09- epi, VAVD, Girl! breastfed 24mo; 10/10- blighted ovum, spon ab; 12/10- no fetal pole, Cytotec; 11/20/11- unmedicated SVD, Girl! breastfed 18mo; 11/7/13- unmedicated SVD, breastfed 18mo; 2/11/16- unmedicated SVD, exclusively pumping to at least a year.

    With #1 it was 2.5 days.

    With #2 it was the same day-- literally the first time I pumped. ?I had an emergency c/s at 4:00 in the morning, and he went to the NICU. ?I didn't feed him at all, then pumped that night. ?It was still yellowish, but it was more than an ounce and definitely milk.

    With #3, I honestly never even noticed.?

    She was born Fri morning and milk came in Mon morning. So, 3 days.
