Tubes it is!
I was off in my calculations, Max has had 9 ear infections in 7 months. I took him to the ENT and told him how many he has had, and he said were skipping past all the small steps and went straight to scheduling surgery. I'm still waiting for the surgical coordinator to call me, but it will be sometime within the next 4-5 weeks. I'm so looking forward to this. Alex's tubes have been in since he was 8 months old. The first set got replaced when he was 2 because they fell out. Since having the tubes all together, he has only had one ear infection, I only think that one was from him starting swimming. I know the success of the tubes and am excited for Max to have some relief from the pain of the infections as well as to be free from the antibiotics. Yay for tubes!!! I'm so glad you don't have to wait and can go right to getting them in. I can imagine that 9 ear infections has to be rough considering he has only been around for a few months!
I had tubes when I was little and my mom always says it was one of the best things she ever did for me.
