Carter is ready. On vacation we have put him on the big boy toilet a few times when he has said he has to poopy or peepy. OMG how is this already here?? He isnt even two yet! GAH!!!
Yay Carter. We got the Bjorn sit and William likes it. We are still not consistent. But next month, he's school program is changing and they will be doing potty training for everybody. I suspect that this will help a lot with getting Willima on board.
We have the Bjorn and hardly used it....it is in the car right now with some paper towels, grocery bags as trash bags, extra outfit and wipes. A friend of mine told me it was good to have something like this just in case you are out and need a potty. I took a potty class way back and the teacher a PT said this style is the best as it puts them in a good position to help things move along. :-)
I got 2 rings for our at home potties, one upstairs one downstairs so SC doesn't fall in. When we were first training, I would take one with me when we went out, so she felt comfy and like she was on the potty at home. Got one a BRU with handles and one at Home Depot...its Dora!
Good luck, the lady at the potty class warned us that you don't need to spend alot of $$ to get results.
Re: Recommend your potty training seat!
For on-the-go potty training I highly recommend the Bonaco travel potty. I have seen this used in action...it is great and it is mom invented!
Perfect for those times when your LO in training decides that they have to go "right now!" - in the car, in the grocery store, where-ever.
I am a big fan of this product and plan on getting one for both cars when my LO gets to that stage.
