my lo still wakes up every 1.5-3 hours to nurse at night. I am starting to pump for when I go back to work, and I've heard that I should pump after the first morning feeding. since i have no "night" sleeping period, when would my morning be? 4:30, 6:30, or 8:30?

Re: stupid bf/pumping question
I don't really have too much advice to give, but I just noticed our DCs have the same name!!
?
FWIW - I would say 8:30. ?Let yourself get some sleep after the 4:30 and 6:30 feedings.?
I pump first thing in the morning as well, and to me, that means whenever I, myself, get out of bed for the day (usually around 8), rather than going back to sleep after I nurse.
I'm doing the same thing-- pumping in the morning to create a store of milk and my LO doesn't sleep more than two hours at a time. I was told at my breastfeeding class to pump between 6-10am and do it one hour after a feeding or on the breast that your child didn't feed on last if you don't want to wait the hour.
So I don't think it matters which time you pick, they all work.
