HIPPI AND OTHER MSP GALS! I NEED YOU!

I'm trying to find a rental car in the greater MSP area. I'm flying in on the 10th and need a car until the 13th. The cheapest I'm finding is 60+ a DAY! There is a "rent a wreck" in St Michael but they don't have any small cars available for that time (convienent!)

Anyway, there MUST be other outlets other than the major retailers for car rentals - I NEED YOUR HELP! LIKE DESPERATION!!!

    My BF just got a car rental from National Can Rental and it was a lot cheaper for her to pick it up away from the airport.

    Funny thing is that Bug had just told me the same trick a few days before my friend found that deal.

    HTH.  I wish I new exactly where to go but I have never rented a car before.

    one of my coworkers rents cars on a regular basis for car trips with Jobs Daughters. She uses enterprise (I think) and really likes them. I'd call places NOT at the airport, and take a cab to a different location.

    So no one wants to rent me their extra vehicle? Everywhere wants between 65-90 a day :(

    I don't have an extra but I'd pick you up at the airport and bring you to the car rental place if you need it. Smile

    thanks for the offer love but I decided to take the shuttle to Duluth. Not ideal but will have to work! :(
