TTC after 35
coming back to you guys (longish)
so i've been away about 4 months. i got really sick back in May and was home for 6 weeks. flu that turned into bronchitis that turned into major asthma exacerbation. so much so that i was back on nebulizer treatments every 4 hours. so needles to say TTC became TTA.
so now i'm getting better, back at the gym, lost the 8lbs i gained, and trying to get my life back.
i stayed away from the boards for awhile, then the past month i've been lurking. my husband finally agreed to go back and get his second SA so as soon as he does that we will go back to the RE for the next "plan" i'm hoping to go straight to IUI with injectables. we already know clomid and metformin are not working for me. so we will see.
glad to see we've had a few BFP's, i see chartbart had her ET. go embies go. and indiansunshine had her BFP and i havent seen her since they heard twin B had no HB. i'm sorry indiana i hope twin A is still a rockstar. oh and CathyMD you crack me up every day. glad to hear your date with the turkey baster is still on. itsmexine how are you?
how is everyone else doing? any plans for the rest of the summer?

Welcome back! Sorry to hear about your illness, but I am glad you are doing better. Now you can get back on the TTC rollercoaster.
I am just waiting for AF to arrive and then we will be doing clomid + IUI next cycle. Hoping it works!!

Not too much going on here but feeling good about TTC. Meeting with the RE again soon so we'll have a plan of attack very soon.

I'm so sorry to hear you were ill. That stinks!
We have a bunch of "little" plans for the summer - trips to our cabin, visits to friends across the state, that sort of thing.
TTC wise, DH has to have another semen analysis - this time testing for the ability to fertilize.
Next Thursday, we have our sit down, strategic planning meeting with our RE.

Our plans for the summer are just to stay cool (it's sooo hot here) and for me to find a job!

Yup, Operation Turkey Baster (OTB) is on for this cycle, so hopefully it all works out and the TB and I will have our date.
