here it is....

What is the normal feeding schedule for a six month old?

Here is Kayla's:

6 am - nurse

9 am - rice cereal with 2 oz formula

10:30 am - 6 oz formula/breastmilk

1 pm - 1 jar of whatever veggie

2 pm - 6 oz formula/breastmilk

5 pm - 6 oz formula/breastmilk

7 pm - rice cereal with 2 oz formula

8:30 pm - nurse

It seems like she is eating ALL THE TIME! Does this seem right to you?

Sounds right to me. You won't see feedings start to taper off for a few more months.

Same here - 5 bottle feedings and 3 solds feedings. Of the 8 hours a day that she is awake, we spend at least 2 feeding her!

Looks normal to me, too. Here's our schedule:

8:00-6 oz formula

9:00 - cereal with 2 oz of formula

12:00 - 6 oz. formula

1:00 - cereal with 2 oz of formul and a 1/2 a jar of fruit or veggie - we just started stage 2

4:00 - 6 oz formula

5:00 - cereal and 1/2 jar of fruit or veggie

7:30 - 6 oz formula

10:30 - 5 oz. formula

Jeeze....they really do eat a lot, don't they!! I'm trying to drop the 10:30 p.m. feeding soon. Just have to work on that.
