Another bfing advice needed, clogged duct or milk blister?

I swear I want to cut off my left breast, anything that can happen to it has happened to it.  I belive now I have a clogged duct along with a milk blister.  I put in a call to the lacatation consultants at my hosp but I wanted to know if any of you had advice how to alleviate it?  Esp if you had a milk blister/blocked nipple pore.

    I didn't have a milk blister, but I did have a blocked duct.  When I called my LC after trying hours of hot compresses and massage with no luck, she sent me straight to a chiropractor to do ultrasound therapy.  He got me in that afternoon.  I felt relief with in an hour of the appointment and went back the following morning for one more round after which I was fine.

    I think you have already done with I did for a blocked duct... EXTRA time on the pump (or nursing) and push hard on the sore/tender area.

    I have had two blocked ducts that didn't want to go away. What did the trick both times was to take a hot shower, pump, then feed. I had to do this three times in a row once but the next time it worked the first time. Also when LO gets bigger sitting them on you knee so the face you and nursing upright works wonders for clogged ducts. I have been prone to them (and mastitis), so I know how you are feeling.

    TMI ahead..

    A friend suggested "the big O" for help of reliving blocked ducts, that and having DH.... um..... give the girls some attention. Personally I can't stand to have DH touch them right now but it worked for her.

    My left boob almost always has had a milk blister.  = (  They super suck.  Although, I'd take one of those anyday over a clogged duct.  (though not both at the same time - my lord, you poor thing).

    The best thing for the milk blisters really is to pop it.  I usually let Marin be as rough as she wants to get it un-popped, but I have used a clean fingernail to pop it too.  Once the clog is out and you can wet-heal it with lanolin, it feels A LOTTTTTT better.  It just becomes a deal with lanolin and nursing pads pain in the arse thing then.  Kellymom has some great tips on care for a milk blister, but I have to admit that I haven't followed through, because really, who has the time to soak your nipple in a saline solution every 2 hours?  Not me.
