New to EFF - Talk to me about deodorant

So I was reading this blog post a while back and have since become completely obsessed with finding an aluminum free deodorant that WORKS.

So far I've tried Naturally fresh roll on crystal & Tom's Apricot, but Im not exactly thrilled with either. Someone in the comments section of the blog post recommends making your own from the angry chicken blog, but Im not sure if I'm really up for spending all that $ on ingridents without knowing more about it.

So EFF nesties - Help me not stink and not have aluminum in my brain!

A lot of people like oigoi from around here. It didn't work the best for me, though.

i use a combo. i have the crystal, which didn't work on it's own. i also had Gudonya deodorant, which also didn't work on it's own. one day i applied the crystal and then a few minutes later put on the Gudonya. at the end of the day i didn't smell (or maybe just a little...i dont' remember). i've been doing this combo for several weeks now. it has held up. i walk to and from work pushing a stroller, up-incline both ways. there was only one day were i was like "holy crap i smell!"
