I think I'd have four.

I would have 4-6, but I don't want to birth all of them. IRL, I could handle 3. But in Real RL, we are having 2 because that's all DH wants and I don't want to force an extra kid on someone who doesn't want to have one. I am not getting my tubes tied though just in case he changes his mind. I am also hoping maybe another kid or two will just fall into our laps somehow.

A maid once a month? Not enough. We have a housekeeper twice a month and my house is seriously wrecked inbetween.

If money were no object, nor my age or fertility, I'd just keep having kids...lots of em! But the reality is we will try to have one more, if we are lucky.

I always say we will compromise on 3 (but in some twist of fate I will have twins and get my way..ha ha).

It depends on if I had the money to hire a baby nurse or nanny. I am not a fan of the newborn, no sleep days. If I had help through those days, I would have 4.
