Lansinoh Double vs Medela In style

So I have to get a double pump. LO is very fussy about latching on and I am only able to get him to nurse with me for about 10 minutes making me have to nurse him every hour for him to be satisfied. I am nursing him 2-3 times a day now and bottle feeding him my pumped milk during the rest of the day.

I have a single Medela pump now which works fine, however it takes me 40 minutes to pump which isn't always in LO's schedule.

I want to get a double pump but honestly do not want to spend a ton of money. I have $150.00 to Target that I have to use and I wanted to use it towards the new pump.

Anyone use the Lansinoh double pump? I read a lot of good reviews but a few negative ones also.

    I have the Lansinoh double and have only used it once since i dont really know how often to use it, but I had a great experience with it...easy to use and clean and i like the storage bags, not to mention that brand of nip cream is amazing!!! lol

    Love my Lansonoh.  I used it twice a day every day during the school year and will continue to once school starts again.  It is easier to clean than the Medela so if time is an issue that will help.

    I have the Lansinoh and a love it!  I've used it twice a day, every week day for the last five months.  I did drop it twice and the suction got a little messed up.  I contacted the company and they replaced it free of charge, even though I admitted it was my fault.

    It is a little louder than the Medela's, but that has never bothered me.

    I have one, used it for my DD for over a year and am using it again. I work full time and pump a lot.  Still going strong on kid #2, even after dropping it.

    thanks ladies. I am pretty sure I am going for the Lansinoh. The single pump I have is Medela so thats my back up!

    I have the Medela PISA and I absolutely love it.  I have to pump 3 times a day at work and I'm able to do it in 15 minutes.  It's really easy to clean the parts and everything, I really don't have a single complaint about it.

    I've used both, as well as a Medela Symphony (hospital grade). Both have pros/cons. The Lansinoh is great bc it is cheaper and it is impossible for milk to back up into the tubing. I don't like that you can't take the flange apart, but it isn't the biggest deal - it's just a bit harder to store. The Medela is heavier and more expensive, but it is so much gentler on my breasts/nipples. I know a lot of ppl don't think the letdown feature on the Medela does much, but I think it helps. I use it at work and always get more than I do with my Lansinoh. The Lansinoh gets the job done for sure, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Is the Medela $100 better? I don't know about that.
