So my DH made pork loin and saurkraut in the crock pot(probably grosses most of you out lol). The way he cooks it he puts a can of beer in the pot with it. It cooks all day and you cant taste the beer when you eat it. Is it ok to eat?
You can decide for yourself. I think the amount of time a slow-cooker for a pork loin takes might cook a large percentage of it off. (Sorry that's from an addiction site ~ I couldn't find the original from USDA)
