Over the past few days I've literally had to eat something every hour or so to stop from feeling sick. I'm not even hungry and am trying to choose healthy options, but inevitably toward the end of the day I'm on total carb overload.
Anyone have a particular food that seems to do a better job of minimizing nausea? Thanks!
Edited to correct spelling ;-)

I was like that when i was pg with DD all day sea sickness like nausia only cured by constant eating. I was always eating and carbs were the best (some favorites - gram cracker, goldfish, cherios, saltines). I found the sour candies were okay but not as good as the carbs.

That is how I was with my first pg. This time no m/s - just swollen gums and headaches. What helped me last time was eating every couple of hours. I would eat bunny grahams and bananas and yogurt. Stuff that was pretty bland.
I did and unfortunatly, McDonalds cheeseburgers were my cure all. I didn't eat them on the hour, but frequented that joint wayy more than necessary lol. My doc told me that carbs were ok for that however. A cracker or 2 here and there is just fine. Also, you may wanna try some peanut butter to add in some protein. GL I hope you feel better
oh yea--and starlight mints helped me a lot too! I took them everywhere. you know those cheapy red and white ones (hope this helps)

Carbs *tasted* best, but when I would eat protein I would *feel* the best. Also with carbs I had to eat them hourly where with proteins I could eat every 3-4 hours and be fine.
Good luck!
This was me until 11 weeks. I actually gained about 10 lbs during 1st tri because all I ate were goldfish constantly to help me with nausea. Nothing else helped (sea bands, ginger tablets, ginger ale).
I did find that eating half a granola bar would help it for a while. But, yeah, I was pulled towards carbs too.
My doctor said this is normal for they type of sickness you have. Don't worry....you are most likely close to being done with it. FWIW - week 9 was my worst (and only puking episodes) and then it started to get better.
Hang in there!
