I've been pretty absent lately, I know
I've just been feeling funny.
I started bleeding red today and went straight to the ER. Baby looks great, measuring right on time, they didn't see any subchronic hematoma's, my cervix is high and closed. But I'm still bleeding a bit
I don't know what is causing it and they don't seem to know either. I am calling my OB in the morning, but I have a feeling it's going to be a long night. Any prayers or good thoughts you could send my way would be awesome. I can't handle the thought of losing another baby.
Re: I could really use some prayers...
You are right around the time I had my first bleeding episode with this pregnancy. It happened off and on until I was finally diagnosed with a placenta previa this week. 4 previous u/s had not shown it, but it was clear as day.
It's really scary, I know. Just do your best to focus on the positives - the baby is ok and there is no sign of immediate danger. What they told me between 9 and 14 weeks was this - Sometimes, women just bleed. They don't know why; it can be any number of things, and many of them are harmless. If baby is doing well, that is the best sign you can ask for.
I'll keep you in my thoughts.

I don't know a lot about hematomas (I had 3 of them, so I know a little), but I wonder if perhaps you bled it out? They wont find it on the US if that's what you bled out. After my 2nd hematoma, I did an ultrasound right away, where they saw a 3rd small on the ultrasound which I ended up bleeding out the next day.
Regardless - you have my prayers!!!
