Yes. My mom and MIL will be called right way. We just found out DH's sisters are too young and wont be allowed in though. I dont plan to restrict anyone. It all depends on how I feel though. If I am not up for visitors they will have to come back.
Will allow grandparents about an hour or two after delivery then welcome our friends after that. My mom wants to lurk about while I am in labor and I am NOT down with that. A pregnant girl needs her space.....
Our "last" growth u/s is scheduled for Friday. DH is like a kid in a candy store he's so excited! (He didn't get to go to the first two because he was deployed) I say its our "last" because he's been measuring too small the last two they did, and if he's STILL under 15%, they'll do more u/s to make sure he's growing and will be healthy for delivery.
We haven't decided who will be in the room at the hospital. I THINK DH is coming around to the idea that its JUST us. I don't mind his mom there for part of labor and a few hours after the baby is born, but I really want "US" time during delivery and the few hours after his birth.

Yes, I plan to have my DH and mom in the delivery room with me. I'm sure my Dad will be there the whole time, just not in the room @ the end. I'm sure DH's parents will also be there the whole time (in and out of the room, just not at the end). I think my sister will be there in and out, but she has a 11 week old (19 weeks on my due date) so she won't be there steady. Dh's siblings will probably come the day after I deliver.
As far as extended family, friends, etc. I have a feeling some will show, but I also think a lot will wait until we get home. I am fine w/whatever happens. I'm def. not stressing it.

Yes, we will allow visitors at the hospital. My parents will bring Rylie a few hours after Bryce is born. And then my husband's mom and step-dad are welcome to come after that. His dad and step-mom will be asked to come the next day. After I had Rylie, both of his parents got there at the same time. Talk about awkward and annoying!!!
I'm sure a bunch of our friends will stop by while we are in there for the three days we will be there. (C-section) I actually would rather people visit in the hospital than at home. At the hospital they tend to not stay as long.
Yes, but prob not until after a couple hours of being rested up. My mom and MIL will be driving intown. My mom has 16+ hrs, MIL has 7+ hrs. Our friends in town will prob come visit at some point, but everyone has to leave when time for feeding, etc.

It will be just my DH and my doula in the delivery room. The immediate family would be allowed in that day and close friends the day after. Everyone else can visit us at home.
no vistors for me. i am allowing my mother and my husband and that is all.
i worry that if i do not make and enforce this rule, i will have a crazy MIL with me. and to me, that is much scarier than labor.
I thought I was in the clear of having to acutally think about this situation. Prior to last Monday, we were going to deliver in SD and only my mom would be flying up for the whole event. However, SINCE last Monday, my husband was deployed on VERY short notice and within the week I moved home to FL, where ALL the family is around. SO now I acutally have it give it some serious thought.
As of today, in the delivery room it'll be my mom, and my sister if she can stomach it. However, all other visitors (ILs and friends) may wait in the waiting room. Maybe during the early larbor part my ILs can come around, but I'm pretty sure as soon as she (MIL) get too crazy she'll have to escorted out. There will be no crying (other than myself) during this whole process!! Other than that, people may come and go as they please I guess. Still in the thought process tho...
Well it will just be DH and I in the delivery room for sure.
Both of our parents will also come to the hospital as well. As far as other visitors I am not sure yet. I know that DH's family all assume they can just visit but DH and I are still working out what we really want. As long as everything goes well and I don't end up needing a c-section my hospital stay will be on the shorter side and I don't want to be overwhelmed in such a short amount of time with a ton of visitors. My family is very understanding and knows that DH and I want space and will come to the house whenever we give the ok. DH's ALL want to see us either at the hospital or at home immediatly after. So I guess we need to decide which is better for us without causing a ton of hard feelings.

Parents, siblings and close friends are allowed but on our schedule. And honestly I doubt anyone but my mom is going to come to the hospital. Most of our parents are out of state and can't afford to fly in, my siblings live three hours away, and my friends in town all work/have kids/etc and I wouldn't expect them to drop everything and come to the hospital. I also want to have some time that is just DH & me, but I am hoping my mom can come up since DH may have to go to work.

Our parents will be there, probably DHs maternal grandparents. We are only in the hospital 24 hours after the birth (if all goes well), so hopefully people wont visit! Hopefully they wait awhile and let us have some 'family' time. At least this is what I have expressed as my wishes. We shall see. Don't plan on restricting our parents....except that we want the first hour or so to ourselves.

I will allow visitors 2 hours after LO's arrival. I have a huge family and so does he and as long as they give us our 2 hours I don't mind them stopping by to show my baby some love.
We don't have a lot of friends nearby since we moved, so I am guessing our visitors will be just my mother-in-law and my daughter (she'll be staying with grandma while we're at the hospital). I'd like to have my daughter come meet her brother within a couple of hours of birth.
Other than that, maybe some of my husbands cousins? I'm not sure who will come to the hospital. My preference is for them to wait until we're at home, but we'll see how it goes.
