I have some random questions:
- Did your sons have similar growth patterns as far as age they moved into different clothing sizes?
- What colors have you used for their rooms?
I'm planning on reusing some clothes, since both should be born in the same season, but I can't resist getting some new things... just wondering if I'm wrong in assuming #2 will grow into things around the same time #1 did.
My DS #1 is staying in the same room that we painted a soft blue, and it has red curtains and some accessories of other colors. My DS #2 is going into a new room but same bedding/crib #1 used. I'm thinking about painting it green and using dark blue curtains and accents.
Re: Moms of 2 Boys (or more)
My SIL/brother has 2 boys. Oldest born in May, youngest born in September - 3 yrs apart.
Oldest - very tall and very very skinny
youngest - short and stocky
They are so different in physical stature, it is hard to believe that they are brothers. The youngest does/did wear some hand me downs but it wasn't until that past year or so that he could really wear them. When the youngest was a baby, his growing was so different than the older one and the seasons were completely off on the clothing.
Foster is definitely growing faster than Alex did. He is about the same in length, just chunkier.
As far as their rooms - Alex's baby room (which is now Foster's room) is sky blue and sage green. Alex's big boy room is bright yellow, dark blue, and it has a dark red stripe around it.
I have two girls but coudl weigh in on the growth:
Micah is the same as kjr's Foster. She's the exact same length as Mia at 6 months, but she's about 1-1 1/2 lbs heaver. I still use the same clothes, just go through them faster.
